Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Pathania undertook a rigorous on-foot visit to the remote village of Manoh in Bodusarna Gram Panchayat, inspecting the proposed road site from Thamba to Manoh. Covering a distance of approximately 7-8 km, he walked through Sarna, Kufaru, Bhutuna, Basuna, Theda, and Manoh before reaching Thamba, accompanied by Shahpur SDM Kartar Chand and other officials.
The visit marked a historic moment for the villagers, as this was the first time since independence that a Shahpur MLA, along with officials from various departments, had set foot in the area. Expressing gratitude, Bodusarna Pradhan Majnish called it a significant day for the residents.
During his interaction with locals in Manoh, Pathania assured them that their long-standing demand for a road would soon be fulfilled. He instructed officials from the Revenue, Public Works, and Forest Departments to expedite the necessary formalities through a joint inspection. Urging cooperation from local landowners, he appealed for immediate land gift deeds to the state government to facilitate a swift start to construction with proper budgetary allocations.
Additionally, he announced that work on the Chadhi-Uni road, planned under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, and the Baldi road project worth ₹10 lakh, would commence soon.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve connectivity in the region, bringing long-awaited development to the remote village of Manoh.
