In a major academic collaboration, Royal Holloway, University of London, and Shoolini University, one of India’s top-ranked private universities, have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to launch a Dual Masters Degree Programme for the 2025/26 academic year.
According to press release ,this programme follows a ‘1+1’ model, where postgraduate students will complete one year at Shoolini University before transitioning to Royal Holloway for their final year, earning degrees from both institutions. Initially, the programme will be available for Biotechnology/Biosciences and Psychology, with potential expansion into other disciplines.
Professor Atul Khosla, Vice-Chancellor of Shoolini University, emphasized that this collaboration will provide students with “world-class education and research opportunities.” Professor Julie Sanders, Vice-Chancellor of Royal Holloway, noted the partnership’s commitment to “building research-infused learning opportunities and fostering a global academic community.”
Under the agreement, students must meet Royal Holloway’s English language and academic requirements. To support international students, Royal Holloway offers early move-in, free airport pick-up, and cultural integration programs.
Shoolini University also provides scholarships for underprivileged meritorious students to facilitate global exposure. This partnership marks a significant step in strengthening international academic ties and enhancing learning opportunities for students in India and the UK.
