Sidhivinayak taimes Shimla। Chandigarh, 2 January 2026: The Department of Anatomy at PGIMER, Chandigarh received the body of Mr. Som Nath Chhabra, aged 93, resident of Sector-2, Panchkula, who passed away on 1 January 2026. The body was generously donated by his wife, Mrs. Nirmal Chhabra, daughter Mrs. Betty Nangia, son-in-law Mr. S.K. Nangia, and other family members, reflecting a noble act of contribution to medical education. The Department expressed its deep gratitude to the family for their selfless gesture, emphasizing that such donations play a vital role in advancing anatomical studies and training future healthcare professionals.
