Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (Degree Wing) successfully organized its annual convocation on October 19, 2023. The Convocation was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh Administration and Ms. Purva Garg, IAS, Secretary Technical Education, Chandigarh Administration, the guest of honor. Dr. M. S. Gujral, Principal CCET and Dr. D.S. Saini, Professor┬а& Head-ECE and┬аCoordinator, Annual Convocation 2023 were part of the momentous event.
Convocation started with presentation of annual report of the institute by Dr. M. S. Gujral, Principal-CCET where he highlighted various achievements accomplished by the┬аinstitute in the last two┬аacademic years.
Sh. Dharam Pal, IAS gave the convocation address and praised the various achievements accomplished by the institute. He highlighted that the accomplishments of the institute are a reflection of the vision, commitment, hard work and dedication of the faculty, staff┬аand students of the institute.┬аHe further praised the institute as тАЬ┬аThe Institute is consistently producing outstanding engineers who are excelling in their careers and occupying responsible positions in some of the best-known enterprises in India as well as across the┬аglobeтАЭ.┬аHe also praised┬аhe placement record of the institute┬аand found it highly┬аimpressive.┬аThe dignitaries congratulated the position holders.┬аProf. D. S. Saini, Coordinator- Convocation 2023 gave vote of thanks.
A total of 358┬аstudents had┬аattended the┬аconvocation,┬аmaking the college┬аproud of their hard work and determination to reach this significant milestone. It was an honor┬аfor the institute┬аto have had┬аthe┬аdistinguished personalities grace the occasion.┬аThe event served as a wellspring of inspiration for┬аthe┬аstudents, motivating them to pursue excellence in their careers.
