Sidhivinayaktimes Shimla। A delegation of the Himachal Pradesh Council for Child Welfare, led by its newly appointed General Secretary Jenab Chandel, called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today. The delegation conveyed its appreciation to the Chief Minister for the various welfare schemes and initiatives launched by the State Government for the benefit of children and women.
During the interaction, the members discussed issues related to child development, women empowerment and the role of voluntary organisations in strengthening welfare programmes. The Chief Minister reiterated the State Government’s commitment to safeguarding the rights and well-being of children and women and emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts between the government and social welfare organisations to ensure effective implementation of welfare measures across the State.
