Sidhivinayak time’s Shimla Panjab University–IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations (PI-RAHI) strengthened its global innovation network by signing two significant Memorandums of Understanding with HL Klemove and INC Innovation Centre Germany during the inaugural International Science and Technology Clusters Conference, *Making Lives Easier Through S and T*, held at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. Leading the PU delegation, Vice Chancellor and PI-RAHI Chairperson Prof. Renu Vig participated along with senior university officials. Addressing the gathering, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, highlighted the transformative role of S&T clusters, describing them as future “National Technology Accelerators” that foster co-innovation and shared development. Expressing satisfaction over the new partnerships, Prof. Vig said the MoUs would pave the way for collaborative initiatives in smart agriculture, healthcare, and sustainable mobility, while enabling joint research, enhanced student and faculty exchanges, and access to cutting-edge technologies.

Emphasising the broader impact, she added that such collaborations bridge global industry and local talent, creating pathways for community-oriented innovation. The two-day conference, organised by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, brought together participants from India and 32 other countries, including diplomats, industry leaders, researchers, and start-ups.
