Siddhivinayak Taimes Shimla। PGIMER Director Prof. Vivek Lal today honoured 13 officers and officials on the occasion of their superannuation at a ceremonial function held on the institute campus. Prof. Lal lauded the retirees for their dedicated service to the institute and acknowledged their valuable contribution over the years. As a mark of appreciation, he addressed the gathering and presented mementos to the retiring employees. Senior faculty members and officials including Prof. Ashok Kumar, Acting Medical Superintendent; Prof. Paramjit Singh, Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis and Professor In-charge, Clinical Photography; Prof. S. P. Singh, Head, Department of Oral Health Sciences Centre; Prof. Nandita Kakkar, Head, Department of Histopathology; Prof. Sagrika Haldar; Prof. Balvinder Mohan; Ms. Ameena Singh, Law Officer; Dr. R. Gautham Ram, Officer In-charge (Pharmacy); Dr. Mahesh Devnani, Officer In-charge (Sanitation); and Mrs. Jaspal Kaur, Chief Nursing Officer, were present on the occasion.

Financial Advisor Sh. Ravinder Singh, IA&AS, distributed retirement financial payment letters to the retirees. The employees who retired from PGIMER include officials from clinical, technical, nursing, administrative and support services, each having rendered 29 to 40 years of committed service to the institute. The event concluded with expressions of gratitude and best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling post-retirement life for all the retirees.
