Following yesterday’s announcement, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has written today from his residence in Dharamshala ,Noth INDIA ,to Navi Pillay to congratulate her on being named this year’s recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of her efforts to promote peace and international law. “You have devoted your life to the cause of people around the world who are denied their rights,” he wrote.
