His Holiness the Dalai Lama was awarded the prestigious Gold Mercury Award for Peace and Sustainability at a special ceremony held at his residence in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh on 31st March 2025. The award was presented by Gold Mercury International, a globally recognized think tank and international non-governmental organization (INGO) dedicated to promoting peace, governance, and sustainable development.
