Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated Samriddhi Bhawan, a state-of-the-art administrative complex constructed near Charan Khad Pul under the Dharamshala Smart City Project. Built at a cost of approximately ₹24.47 crore, the four-story building will house the Municipal Corporation Dharamshala, Smart City Limited, and the Integrated Command and Control Center under one roof, significantly strengthening the city’s administrative framework.
With the inauguration of Samriddhi Bhawan, the Municipal Corporation will shift its headquarters to the new building, which is poised to become the central hub for all Smart City initiatives. The complex features modern, well-equipped offices for the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Commissioner, and senior officials. It also includes a fully furnished conference hall designed for meetings of councilors and administrative staff.
For public convenience, a canteen and a dedicated grievance redressal center have been set up on the ground floor. The basement has been developed to provide adequate parking facilities for employees and visitors.
From now on , all public-related municipal services will be available at Samriddhi Bhawan, offering citizens a single-window system and ending the need to visit the ageing, dilapidated office building near the Kunal Hotel.
