Siddhivinayak Taimes Shimla। PGIMER Chandigarh delivered an outstanding performance at the National Winter Rose Show held at the India-Africa Friendship Rose Garden, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, emerging as one of the top achievers at the prestigious event. Competing against 10 major organisations and over 200 individual exhibitors from across the country, the Director PGI team secured an impressive total of 78 trophies and cups in multiple categories, including prominent honours such as the NN Mohan Challenge Trophy and the Rose Society Challenge Cup.

The competition witnessed participation from renowned institutions like NDMC, CPWD, HUDA and IARI–Pusa, with entries evaluated by an expert panel of scientists and rose specialists from IARI and NBRI centres across India. The remarkable achievement underscores the skill, dedication and consistent efforts of PGI’s horticulture team, whose excellence, under the guidance of the DPGI, reflects the institute’s broader commitment to quality and distinction beyond healthcare.
