Siddhivinayak Taimes Shimla। Shimla, 23rd December 2025: A delegation from the Pangi region, led by Lalit Thakur, Chairman of APMC Chamba, met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today to discuss various developmental demands of the region. During the meeting, the Chief Minister praised the people of Pangi and the Self Help Groups for their remarkable contributions to natural farming.
He highlighted that the state government is actively promoting natural farming practices across Himachal Pradesh and acknowledged the significant efforts of farmers and horticulturists in the Pangi region. To further support these initiatives, the government has announced a fixed support price for naturally grown barley in Pangi, which is expected to boost farmers’ income and give a distinctive identity to their produce. The Chief Minister assured the delegation that all their genuine demands would be considered sympathetically.
